Managing/New Business Director/Partner
Job Description
This person will be part of the executive management team, leading all aspects of our new Portland office. The candidate will participate in local and national client and company strategy, day-to-day operations, hiring, expanding new business and general franchise management. Integrated marketing, lifestyle and experiential expertise, particularly in interactive and emerging technologies, and successful new business track record is a must. Entrepreneurial spirit should be a given.
Requirements will include collaborating with colleagues on account management, prospecting and pitches, agency operations, recruiting and training staff, managing and supporting current accounts and reporting to the national financial director.
More specifically:
- Continuously identify new business opportunities, particularly for lifestyle brands and/or their agencies, develop new statements of work, and deliver profitable, progressive solutions that achieve the clients’ business objectives while increase the overall size of the contract value.
- Proactively expand existing business with new services as well as creating new business opportunities.
- Identify new marketing and advertising opportunities that are technically and culturally forward-thinking.
- Manage multiple client campaigns and projects, and associated staff
- Identify and schedule all resources and/or project managers for every campaign and project and deliver work on time and on budget.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to assist or manage P&L and identify additional revenue opportunities
- Have strong strategic abilities, impeccable communication and organization skills
