In the last 48 hours, I have held the Stanley Cup, watched a Cubs/A's game from a skybox with a couple Blackhawk players, gained platinum status on another airline with a single flight, basked in 30 hours of non-stop sunlight, hauled 160 lbs of luggage at rush hour through the world's largest and second largest train stations, and enjoyed a fine meal of raw horse meat — all before taking a break to sleep. Do I know how to start a trip, or what?
